We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic to uptake a new challenge and develop their skills in integrating analysers to the new Laboratory Information Management System.

This is an exciting chance to be part of this dynamic team during a time of exponential growth in Kent and Medway.

As a Technical Analyst you will engage with a broad range of stakeholders, including Pathology Network PMO staff, Pathology managers and laboratory staff, Trust corporate IT Departments and analyser suppliers, to ensure a smooth transition from the legacy LIMS integration to the new LIMS.

Working for the Kent and Medway Pathology Network you will be surrounded by a collaborative, creative and encouraging team who will ensure all support is offered to you.

Being part of a warm, vibrant and engaging team there will be lots of team work and other times where you will be working autonomously.

  • The post holder will be responsible for the production of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cutover planning for existing analysers to the new LIMS.
  • The Technical Analyst will work closely with laboratory teams and analyser suppliers to ensure a smooth transition from the legacy LIMS integration to the new LIMS.
  • The post holder will be required to maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in relevant internal and external working groups/projects, services, and initiatives to provide information and analytical advice to programme and project leads.
  • Communicate information and issues, including briefings and reports, to programme and project leads as required.
  • Demonstrate good negotiating skills in what may be difficult, sometimes confrontational situations, and good communication; written, verbal and presentation skills.
