Senior Physiotherapist (Musculoskeletal Paediatrics)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our MSK Paediatric Therapy Team. We are looking for a motivated Physiotherapist, who would like to further develop their career as a paediatric musculoskeletal physiotherapist within a highly rewarding and progressive team. This is a flexible working secondment opportunity. It would suit anyone interested in working with children, or looking to enhance their current MSK skills within Paediatrics.

You will be working as an autonomous practitioner with senior support from a team of highly experienced clinical specialist physiotherapists and advanced practice physiotherapists. We have a rotational band 5 physiotherapy scheme which you will be involved with as well as working alongside therapy support staff. The service is committed to continued professional development and service improvement, and the successful applicant would be expected to fully participate in ongoing service development activities and the regular in-service training programme.
You will assist in the clinical delivery of the paediatric musculoskeletal physiotherapy service in the Outpatient Physiotherapy Department based at The Kent and Canterbury Hospital, although you may be required to visit other sites as per the service need. Your caseload will consist of a range of 1:1 assessments and treatments as well as being responsible for independently running group sessions in our gym space and hydrotherapy pool.

· Ward Based OMS which delivers daily management and continuous improvement on the frontline

Qualifications
Meini prawf hanfodol
- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy /Physiotherapy
- Appropriate State registration with the Health Professions Council
Meini prawf dymunol
- Membership of the British Association of Occupational Therapy / Chartered Society of Physiotherapy / British Association of Hand Therapy
- Fieldwork Educators Course/Clinical Educators Course or equivalent
Experience

- Broad experience as Junior Therapist (Band 5) and evidence of achieving the competencies of the exit gateway at Band 5
- Experience working as part of a MDT
- Contribution to clinical education/ supervision of less experienced staff/ students
