Job overview
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Radiographers to join the general and interventional Radiography team based at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital, East Kent Hospital University Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity of a rotational post between Interventional and general Radiography. With new and expanding State-of-the-Art Interventional suites, dedicated to providing high quality diagnostic services to our patients.
Participation in the out of hours interventional on call service is essential.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will rotate through the Interventional Radiology suites and General radiography department.
Interest in Interventional Radiology and established general radiographic skills are essential.
Previous Radiographic experience working within interventional Radiography or a mechanical thrombectomy service is desirable.
You must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn. You will need the ability to work under pressure with a flexible approach to working time. Being sympathetic, caring and the ability to work within a team are essential.
In liaison with other senior radiographers the post holder will provide supervision of junior staff and students.
Participation in the out of hours 24/7 on call service including weekends and bank holidays is essential.
It is important that you are able to work autonomously and are able to work flexibly within the different multi-disciplinary teams using your clinical expertise to provide a quality service.
To organise and prioritise workload as required, in a specialised modality area taking into account the patients' clinical condition and the imaging request, in a safe and efficient manner.
To record data concerning the patients' examination, in line with IRMER 2017 legislation and factors relating to the patients clinical condition, and details of drugs administered during the course of the patient's examination.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
