Job overview

A vacancy has arisen for an Administrator to join the Senior Management Team supporting the East Kent Directorate. 

This role would be primarily working from home, with the need to support with meetings and team days across East Kent several times a month. 

The successful candidate will need to be a self-motivated, dynamic, forward-thinking and flexible administrator 

The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent, and will have strong customer service skills, a professional and confident telephone manner, good organisational and keyboard skills.  Some experience in clinical or document typing would be an advantage. 

You will require good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and be able to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations.

 

Main duties of the job

The varied role of Administrator will include:

  • Preparing Agendas for meetings.
  • Minuting meetings.
  • Diary management.
  • Supporting senior staff with administrative duties
  • Other varied admin tasks that will be identified as the team/role evolves

 An effective approach is required to ensure an efficient and high standard of service to our patients.

Also the need to be able to work to deadlines and under pressure.
