Job overview

We are looking to recruit a part time Band 5 Registered Nurse for our busy and thriving Outpatients departments at Buckland Hospital, Dover, and  Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate  part of East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. The post will involve working between both sites and working at weekends on a rotational basis.

Outpatient services are growing and there has never been a better time to join our team and develop your nursing career. We are looking for a friendly and dynamic individual with excellent communication skills to help ensure the delivery of a high quality, evidence based and cost effective Outpatient service for patients and their families.

Main duties of the job

Applicants must be enthusiastic, demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

The department is both challenging and rewarding. As part of your role you will also be involved in helping to develop the HCA’s who play an important role within the department.
