Looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician leader to drive the service and development of the Clinical Pharmacy Technician and Assistant Team (50 staff) across the Trust.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the team and the service that they provide to meet the patient needs with the future workforce.

As a member of the Clinical Pharmacy Leadership team, you will be working closely with the other team Leads and the Lead Clinical Services Pharmacist supporting the overall development of the Pharmacy Clinical Service

We are a team that supports flexible working with 90% of Senior Clinical staff on a flexible working pattern. Please ask for more details.

Main duties of the job

·                To assist the Lead Pharmacist Clinical Operations and Workforce in the strategic development of the Trust wide Clinical pharmacy services.

·                To be responsible for the provision and development of an effective Clinical Pharmacy Technician and Clinical Assistant Pharmacy Service across the Trust.

·                To ensure training programmes for Pharmacy technicians and Clinical assistants are fit for purpose and ensure future workforce has the required skills

·                To lead on the development and maintenance of clinical services policies, procedures and guidelines as appropriate.

·                To deputise for the Lead Pharmacist Clinical Operations and Workforce on all operational and Workforce projects as required

·                To provide a Clinical Pharmacy Service to a designated area
