We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Breastfeeding Assistant Practitioner to join our professional Infant feeding service in Maidstone.

Main duties of the job
Could you use your skills and experience to support the NHS to deliver great patient care? Great patient care needs great people to support clinical teams. That’s where you come in.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Evidence of Foundation Degree/Apprenticeship Level Study (Level 5) Functional Skills at Level 2 (Literacy and numeracy/ GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths)
Desirable criteria
- Mentorship / coaching qualification or supervisory experience Recognised training/qualification in breastfeeding support
Experience
Essential criteria
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supporting breastfeeding within either the NHS or community and voluntary sector Experience of working as part of a team Experience with the use of Microsoft Office and a variety of IT packages (E-Pay / E-roster / AT-P / CIS)
Desirable criteria
- Experience of community environment
