Senior EPR Configuration Analyst
Band 6
Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and organised individual to join our Digital Transformation EPR team. We are currently live with Altera Sunrise EPR in a number of areas such as EPMA, Inpatients, Outpatients, paediatrics with integration work involving iPRO, Vital Signs and Teletracking. Many new system optimisation areas are planned in the coming months.
Our Digital Transformation EPR team comprises of business change and configuration analysts who work together with the testing and training teams and our trust staff to develop the clinical functionality of our new EPR system, including adapting workflows to meet clinical and operational needs as well as troubleshooting issues arising with the system, and leading on future developments as it is embedded in other areas of the Trust.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an individual who has knowledge and at least 2 year's experience of EPR Configuration to support the management of our Digital Transformation EPR configuration team. You must demonstrate an appreciation and vision as to how practices can be transformed and supported by electronic patient records and clinical systems, as well as enhancing patient safety and experience, reduce costs and improve process efficiency.
You will have good communication skills with an appreciation of process and workflow. It is important to be able to understand issues from the user perspective and not just as technical problems. You must also be able to articulate issues to the wider project team to support development of the EPR to meet the service needs.
