Job overview

An opportunity has arisen to make a difference in an exciting, demanding role of  a Full time Medical Secretary working in Oncology. This post may require some cross site working between Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

You will have an excellent range of PA and Secretarial skills; ideally including a solid knowledge of medical terminology - though this is not essential and accurate audio typing skills.

Main duties of the job

You should be self-motivated with the ability to work in a busy and pressured environment. You should be able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, along with a flexible approach to duties.

You should also hold relevant secretarial or audio typing qualifications and have previous secretarial or PA experience. Knowledge and experience within the health sector would be beneficial but not essential.
