Therapeutic Radiographer

We are looking to employ a Therapeutic Radiographer to be part of the team of radiotherapists on the treatment units!

Previous experience within image evaluation and knowledge of IGRT techniques would be an advantage. Students qualifying this year are welcome to apply.

The post will be linked to a professional development package which will assist the post holder to progress through a career pathway.

You will be expected to undertake imaging assessment for all sites using both MV,kV and Cone Beam CT imaging modalities.

We actively support training opportunities at an in-house and external levels.

All posts are linked to a competency package which enables radiotherapists to progress through a career pathway.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

To act as part of a team in the treatment process ensuring the highest professional and technical standards are set and maintained.

To provide a patient focused service within the team

To undertake radiotherapeutic procedures efficiently and to treat patients with ionising radiation in accordance with prescribed protocols, radiation control measures and medico-legal requirements.

To plan and organise daily work and some complex activities or programmes for an area of practice, some of which may be ongoing.

To be aware and report any variances in the performance of equipment by the normal reporting system.

When necessary to cover emergency duties in accordance with the Department Policy.

To attend Departmental meetings.

To identify and report any possible risks.

This post may require the post-holder to travel across the Trust sites in the course of fulfillment of their duties
