Job overview

The Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board Business Intelligence Team is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the team as a Senior Analyst.

The Business Intelligence Team is a team of over 20 data and analytics professionals and is split into separate teams which specialise in Data Development, Engineering, Visualisation and then the front facing teams primarily supporting the requirements of the different directorates.

This role will primarily provide analytical support to our Delivery Teams including high profile programmes such as Elective Recovery and Urgent and Emergency Care.

Main duties of the job

The main duty of the role is to support the Analytics Lead in delivering a portfolio of programme requirements supporting key initiatives prioritised by the Delivery executive.

The role holder will participate, support and eventually lead cross-functional analytical teams focussing on developing fit for purpose products and providing insight based on the output of these.

The development of relationships with stakeholders prioritising the collation of requirements and leading on assigned workstreams will be a key aspect to this role.

  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.

Experience

  • Ability to use specific visualisation software to produce basic visualisations, including histograms, bar charts and box plots.
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of creating and giving presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to prepare and produce concise yet insightful communications for dissemination to senior stakeholders and a broad range of stakeholders as required
