Job overview

The ICB’s Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) directorate works in collaboration with health and care partners across Kent and Medway to deliver the digital change and transformation required to support the system to be more effective and transform at pace with higher quality and lower cost. The DDaT directorate is structured around four teams (Technology, Data/Analytics, Information Governance and Digital Delivery) that work closely together with ICB colleagues and system partners.
The Senior Digital Analyst provides business analyst expertise as part of the Digital Delivery team. The team:

• builds effective working relationships with key clinical, health and operational colleagues across health and social care
• delivers ICB digital transformation projects and assures the delivery of ICS wide digital transformation programmes
• provides subject matter expertise by aligning named digital leads to ICB transformation programmes to promote digital innovation
• supports the procurement of solutions in line with ICB SFIs and PCRs and ensure solutions meet relevant compliance requirements
• provides business support to the Chief Digital Transformation Officer

The ICB operates a hybrid working policy to provide work life balance with the benefits of face-to-face collaboration at ICB and partner provider offices across Kent and Medway.
This role will require the post holder to work closely with stakeholders at their place of work and is therefore not suitable for fully remote working.

• determining and defining solutions that address organisational, people, processes, information and technology problems
• ensuring systems and processes are fit for purpose and ensuring these are robust and tested with relevant teams and stakeholders, delivered on time and to required quality
• undertake business analysis using best practice tools and techniques to redefine processes to demonstrate the feasibility and potential benefits of applying a particular technology
• leading the definition of functional requirements for the selection of both software and hardware
• acting as an advocate for the business, ensuring the digital provision meets the strategic objectives of the organisation
• creating business analysis documentation including functional requirements for procurement documentation and take part in scoring tenders
• leading user acceptance testing to ensure that products are of the required quality before deployed
• complying with the change control process to ensure appropriate governance and approval is provided for required changes to solutions
• facilitating various groups, forums, and workshops.
