This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly evolving and progressive IG function in Kent & Medway. You'll primarily be a part of the team that provides a DPO service to GPs, providing advice on SARs, DPIAs, and general queries as well as leading webinars.

Main duties of the job

• Experience working with teams to ensure that any new projects/programmes are reviewed to ensure compliance with the latest Information Governance requirements including reviewing of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and associated sharing/processing agreements.
• Provide administrative support to the ICS Information Governance team which will included but not limited to coordinating diaries for meetings, ensuring logs are kept up to date.
• Support the wider Information Governance team to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects is planned, managed, and delivered effectively.
• Cross training and supporting the wider Information Governance business and project support roles when necessary to always ensure cover within the team.
• Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation, and evaluation of the tasks/projects by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications, and stakeholder management.
• Ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions, organisations, and projects.
