Job overview
We are currently looking for a driver to support the dental services in North East London which includes the dental outreach services we provide in London and Kent on occasion. The London boroughs covered are Newham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Havering and Barking & Dagenham.
Please note the salary will include an additional high cost of living area payment of 15%.
You will be working mainly with the outreach and oral health promotion teams supporting the delivery of community based clinical services and intervention programmes. You will be expected to drive various vehicles and maintain the vehicles you use. You will require a license that allows you to drive a vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes.

Main duties of the job
This post has two primary functions:-
1. To drive the dental mobile unit to any required location to facilitate the delivery of patient services and/or oral health promotion
2. Where Service needs demand, to drive a lease vehicle (car) to support the delivery of oral health promotion outreach projects.
You'll need to be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Service and this may involve minor variations to working
Additional Working Pattern: 7.5hrs, Monday - Friday

- Full, clean driving licence to drive vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes (Category C1 & D1 needed on licence

- Advanced driving skills Preferably GCE Grade C
