Job overview

We have an opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Paediatric MSK Physiotherapist to join our expanding, forward-thinking and highly regarded Paediatric Musculoskeletal Therapy Team in EKHUFT. You will be working in a busy friendly outpatient department seeing both G.P and Consultant referrals.

You will take a lead role in the clinical delivery of Paediatric MSK Physiotherapy Services in an Outpatient Physiotherapy Department as part of experienced outpatient team with specialists in hands, rheumatology, occupational health, acute injuries and paediatrics.

Support will be provided from Consultant Paediatric MSK Physiotherapist, 2  Band 8a Advanced Practice Paediatric MSK Physiotherapists and 2 other Band 7  Paediatric MSK Physiotherapists .

Main duties of the job

 To take a lead role in the clinical delivery and leadership of Paediatric Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy services.

To provide a key focus for therapeutic clinical expertise, high quality advice and support to the multi-professional team.

To establish and develop sound communication networks, along with other clinical specialists, in order to provide a high quality, efficient service.

In conjunction with the Outpatient Therapy Team, develop and deliver postgraduate training relevant to Musculoskeletal Paediatrics.

In conjunction with the Team Lead, ensure clinical governance targets are met, including the development of clinical standards and protocols, specialist evidence based practice, audit, research, clinical and non-clinical risk management.
