ICT Procurement and Asset Management Junior Support Officer - Band 3 - 30 hours per week (over 5 Days- Monday - Friday)
An opportunity has arisen within the ICT PaAM Team function at Tameside Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
ICT Services are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the ICT PaAM Team as an ICT PaAM Junior Support Officer, supporting the ICT PaAm Team Leader in assuring the successful management of procurement and ICT assets.
The post holder will be expected to deliver an effective and competent level of clerical support, dealing with routine and specialist enquiries.
Applicants will require experience of providing clerical support having worked or have experience of ICT systems and/or environment, an understanding of asset management and procurement. An understanding of the local health and social care community will be beneficial. There will be a need for excellent communications skills to work effectively with others including mangers and staff within the Trust and third party suppliers.
This is not a project management role but an opportunity to work in a project environment (PMO)
Main duties of the job
This is a key operational role within the organisations ICT Service delivery which provides support to ICT services supporting the development and maintenance of the organisations current and future CMBD, Procurement, Asset Management, Change and Project activities. The individual will work within the ICT PaAM Team reporting to the ICT Service and Operations Manager.
To provide administrative support to ICT Services. Assisting in information gathering, data entry, purchasing, co-ordination and arrangement of meetings, events and sessions.
