As an integrated mental health, learning disability and community Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including:
• Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, forensic services including low and medium secure care.
• Specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join our small but busy team based at Charnley Fold.
Meeting the needs of our service users and their support networks is at the heart of what we do. You will have previous administrative experience, ideally with working knowledge of the service and trust. You must be able to support our service users in a tactful and sensitive manor, and demonstrate your ability to do so.
Due to the evolving needs of the trust, on occasion, you may be required to provide cover and support for other teams. You will be responsible for admin duties that include but are not limited to phone calls, diary management, minute taking for MDT meetings and processing referrals and discharges.

The post holder will be supported by the Locality Admin Lead and will work closely with clinical lead for the Central Memory Assessment Service.
In return you will be part of a supportive team who will develop your skills, knowledge and experience. The Administration team are engaging and work as one team and is keen to find an experienced administrator to deliver excellent service and patient experience.

- GCSE Maths and English Grade A-D
- Demonstrable commitment to continuous personal development
- Competent in the use of Microsoft office packages including outlook, word and teams
Knowledge

- Knowledge of a range of administrative procedures and practice relevant to the service
- Accurate keyboard skills for producing reports and correspondence
- Ability to manage non routine enquiries without immediate supervision
Experience

- Previous experience as an administrator including diary management
- Previous experience of working in a fast moving, confidential, sensitive, pressurised deadline driven environment
- Proven ability of minute taking and supporting meetings
Skills

- Able to demonstrate skills in Organising and prioritising of diaries and schedules
- Capable of working under pressure and using own initiative; able to prioritise workload
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels using e-mail, telephone or face to face
