Job overview

Provide a comprehensive, high quality, administrative Personal Assistant and secretarial service the Directorate Manager (DM) / Directorate Matrons and provide ad hoc support to other staff within the relevant area.  To be complaints co-ordinator for the ED/Acute Directorate ensuring all complaints are dealt with in a speedy professional and caring manner.

 

This role is office-based Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on site in the Emergency Department at Royal Blackburn .

Essential to role

Essential criteria
  • GCSE English at grade 4 or above
  • IT Skills, familiar with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
  • RSA 3 typing qualification of equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years comprehensive secretarial experience or equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • • Winscribe digital dictation system or similar.
  • ECDL/Experience using ELHT Systems
