We employ over 9,500 staff, many of whom are internationally renowned and have won awards for their work.

Job overview

East Lancashire Hospitals Trust are looking for individuals who share our values, and want to give safe, personal, and effective care.

Tell us about yourself and your experiences by applying online. Have a look at the person specification and tell us how you meet the skills and have the experience we’re looking for.

We have  vacancies available within our Medical and Emergency Care Division - in the additional information section please highlight if you have a specialty area of interest, a preferred ward and the shift patterns you are ideally looking for, so we can match you to the right interview panel

This recruitment event is for substantive post only, not bank.

Successful applications will be invited to attend our recruitment event, to be held on Monday 12th August. A full day event where we’ll get to know you, your values and where you might work best through a series of assessment based tasks and forums.  We’re aiming for the day to be fun and give you a chance to get to know what it’s like to be part of the ELHT family and give you a chance to meet some current staff and volunteers to help you understand what your role is all about.

Care experience is not essential as we are happy to provide training to candidates with the right qualities.

Our staff are passionate and enthusiastic and pride themselves on the care we give to our patients and on strong teamwork ethos – we can’t wait for you to join our team!
