Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two practitioners become part of the Primary Intermediate Mental Health Team, in a Trainee Senior Mental Health Practitioner role, providing  assessments, care planning and interventions to individuals accessing the service.  The service will provide a specific 12 month training program, catered towards developing specific skill set to meet the needs of the service client cohort. This will include attendance at specific therapy skills training, alongside the expectation this practitioner will work across all pathways within the service, including acting as role of duty practitioner.

Informal enquiries welcome.

Main duties of the job

  • The practitioner will work within generic mental health, Perinatal Mental Health, Early Help and Family Safeguarding pathways as well as the Neurodevelopmental Pathways. On successful completion of the training program alongside demonstrable senior clinician clinical skills, the practitioner will progress into a Senior Clinician role within the team, moving from B5 to B6 practitioner.

This is a forward thinking and progressive service; therefore we are looking to appoint individuals who have the passion and motivation to make a positive contribution to our team and the Fylde Coast community. Ability to work with multidisciplinary and multi organisational teams is essential.
