Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated, forward thinking Band 4 Qualified Nursing Associate. You will work within the community nursing service, providing home-based care, led by Community Nurses. This service is part of the Integrated Community Services Division, who provide a multitude of services within Bolton. Experience of working within a community is not essential as the successful candidates will receive a full supportive induction when they join the Division and the team.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
As a qualified nursing associate, you will be part of our team of community nurses delivering high quality care to people living in their own homes. This includes delivering wound care, medications, end of life care and continence care. You will be given a comprehensive induction to support your transition into community working

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register with a Foundation Degree.
- • GCSEs Grade C or above in Maths and English language/ New GCSE Grade 4-9 in Maths and English language OR Functional Skills level 2 in Maths and English or Equivalent ( not entry Level 2)
Experience
Essential criteria
- • Experience of working in teams under appropriate Supervision as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- • Experience of providing and receiving complex sensitive information.
SKILLS
Essential criteria
- Ability to organise and priorities own delegated workload.
- • Ability to deal with Non-routine and unpredictable nature of workload and individual patient contact.
KNOWLEDGE
Essential criteria
- • Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained with the code.

- • Open minded, treats colleagues and the general public with dignity and respect.
