Job overview
An excellent development opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Department Manager, within our specialised and friendly team providing high quality care to women in our Gynaecology Outpatient Diagnostic and Treatment Department, 'Women's Health Care'
We are looking for the best to join our specialised and friendly team providing high quality care to women. Our team provides a full range of gynaecological services for planned diagnostics and treatment, including office procedures and elective surgery. These services are provided by an expert and specialist team including doctors, nurses, therapists, radiologists, pathologists and oncologists across our gynaecology areas in our dedicated Women’s healthcare outpatient department.
You will be an experienced Registered band 6 or B7 Nurse who has gynaecology experience and is looking for your next development or a new challenge.
You will be self-motivated able to motivate others, caring, compassionate and work with integrity.
You will process excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to prioritise under pressure.
Main duties of the job
As a band 7 department manager you will be expected to be a caring compassionate leader who can promote the delivery of a high standard of patient centred care in a supported environment.
You will already have current leadership experience and are looking towards your next step.
Potential candidates should possess a Degree in Adult nursing or equivalent experience, evidence of recent professional development and change management experience.
