Trosolwg o'r swydd

This post is for a full-time Consultant in Infection (Consultant with Specialist training in Microbiology and CCT in microbiology or Combined Infection Training or joint CCT in infectious diseases and microbiology or equivalent) to work within an evolving Infection Service based in the Department of Pathology at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LTHTR).

Participation in the joint ward round with the Antimicrobial Pharmacist and rounds on other specialist unit’s e.g. critical care, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Surgery, Nephrology, will be agreed among the consultants according to personal interest & may rotate between the consultants with mutual agreement. Currently some of the ward rounds and MDTs are taking place through Microsoft Teams.
