Are you ready to play a pivotal role in ensuring our resilience as a category one responder? Join the dynamic Emergency Preparedness, Resilience, and Response (EPRR) Team at the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) as an EPRR Administrator.
About the Role: As the EPRR Administrator, you will play an integral role in delivering our work programme to plan, prepare, and respond to emergencies and major incidents. Your organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle critical information will support the EPRR team in maintaining robust resilience and response frameworks.

The post holder will work as part of a team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the region/local area.
In particular the post holder will provide and coordinate administrative and secretarial services; including for example, the preparation of agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required.
Supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary for the head of department, teams and the department.

The role will be varied and will adapt over time as the ICB develops. However, the post holder is expected to fulfil the following key functions: -
· Provide and support managers with a wide range of administrative and computer skills as well as maintaining a range of knowledge and understanding of procedures, protocols, and functions.
· Function as first point of contact to area of work for a wide range of stakeholders, seeking solutions to support and signpost where necessary.
· Provide and receive complex information which may contain contentious and sensitive information.
· Communicating and engaging with external and internal stakeholders which may require negotiation skills and understanding the needs/requirements and of other organisations, senior professionals, and individuals.
· Updating and maintaining databases and/or spread sheets relevant to work area, and manage meeting arrangements including the taking and distribution of minutes etc.
· To uphold organisational policies and principles on the promotion of equality.
· Support and compile data ready for officers to write reports.
· Manage own project plans in line with the wider team work plan.
· Support the induction of new on call commanders in to the organisation.
· Rota management.
· Management of published documents for the team ie, plans, polices, strategies ensuring up to date and relevant information is available on our websites both internally and externally.
· The post holder will be Secretary for Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Committee.
· The post holder will be Secretary for the Local Health Resilience Partnership (LHRP).
· To provide support to the team in meeting our standards in the national EPRR annual assurance process.
· Organise internal training/ workshops and coordinate external training delivered by partners.
· Maintain training records of all on call commanders in line with National Occupation Standards.
· To work in partnership with others and as part of cross directorate teams to deliver successful outcomes.
· To coordinate activities of other officers in the awareness of the business agenda with specific reference to communication of directorate and corporate activities.
· To support the organisation’s ways of working, model it’s values and champion the NHS Constitution.
· Knowledge of emergency preparedness, resilience and response and business continuity.
· Demonstrable experience in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
· Experience of managing own workload.
· Clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills.
· Act as first point of contact to area of work for a wide range of stakeholders.
· Provide and receive complex information which may contain contentious and sensitive information.
· Communicating and engaging with external and internal stakeholders which may require negotiation skills and understanding the needs/requirements and of other organisations, senior professionals, and individuals.
· Updating and maintaining databases and/or spread sheets relevant to work area, and manage meeting arrangements including the taking and distribution of minutes etc.
· To manage the diaries and associated arrangements of senior managers and directors
· To uphold organisational policies and principles on the promotion of equality

The main duties and responsibilities described above are not exhaustive and the post holder expected to take on other responsibilities or specific tasks as required as requested.
Further, over time it is likely the remit and requirements of the role will evolve, and the post holder will be required to adjust their working approach and style to accommodate this with the full support of line managers.
