We are seeking a compassionate Patient Support Assistant đ to help make our department a welcoming and calming environment. In this role, youâll chat with patients to ease their nerves đ¤, assist with light tasks đ, and support our staff in delivering excellent care đĽ.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Provide reassurance and friendly conversation to patients đ.
⢠Assist with serving beverages â and help out at meal times đ˝ď¸.
⢠Help with restocking and keeping areas tidy đ§š.
⢠Escort patients to the main entrance as needed đśââď¸.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
