The East Midlands Planned Care Centre (EMPCC) is a vibrant new Elective Care Hub opening December 2024. EMPCC will provide a Multi - professional approach providing the right care in right place by a skilled and expert team. We are excited to start recruiting for Medical Records Clerks for the East Midlands Planned Care Centre. This is for a November start date.

Main duties of the job
The Medical Records Clerks carry out a wide variety of duties including retrieval of case notes from around the hospital sites and from the medical records libraries, filing of case notes into multiple library locations, scanning and uploading on to computerised systems as well as computerised tracking of notes; the successful applicant will need basic IT skills and good communication skills. The ability to work on your own initiative and to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment is essential and you must be able to lift and handle medium loads.

Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
