This is an exciting role for the right candidate.  With our progression pathway and support to complete additional qualifications you have the opportunity to develop from cardiographer (band 2) to trained associate practitioner (band 4).

With the development of our CDC's our successful candidates will be working in both the acute hospital and our community diagnostic centers.

 

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

The Cardiographer  will be working within the cardiology department, performing cardiac diagnostic tests on in patients and out patients and assisting with departmental administration. Delegated work and duties will be assigned and carried out under the direct and indirect supervision of a qualified Cardiac Physiologist as appropriate.

The post holder will be required to provide support to the Clinical Physiologists and provide an ECG service in accordance with departmental procedures and local safety rules. The will be expected to  undertake cardiac physiological tests and procedures on patients such as recording Electrocardiographs, Fitting of a range of ambulatory monitors and perform basic Spirometry (where the service is required).

The postholder will possess good IT skills to use the relevant information systems in identifying and entering correct patient records and history, working within the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
