Clinical Team Lead (Band 7)

Scarborough  Ward

An exciting opportunity has arisen for applications for the post of Clinical Team Lead (CTL) to work within the Community Hospital directorate based at Skegness Hospital.  The post holder will assume clinical operational leadership and management responsibility for Scarborough Ward.

Scarborough Ward is a dynamic ward offering 12 Community Hospital beds and 3 dedicated palliative care rooms.

It is essential for candidates to have considerable experience of working in a leadership role.

The CTL for will oversee the operational delivery of this service within LCHS and will be responsible for providing assurance against delivery, including performance management, governance, budget management, business planning and rota oversight.

To apply, you must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse or Therapist. You should also hold a degree level qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience at this level, with evidence in your portfolio of leadership, development and change management skills. The ability to demonstrate exceptional communication skills together with a successful record of leading and managing successful high performing teams and services will be paramount.

This role involves leading the ward team and working collaboratively with the team of Adult Community Therapy, the LCHS Operations Centre, our neighbouring Acute Trusts, Mental Health Trust, East Midlands Ambulance Service and Lincolnshire County Council and the Integrated Care Board (ICB) to ensure exceptional care and an optimum patient experience in the flow of their care in and out of Community Health Services.

The successful post holder needs to role model the values of LCHS, be motivated and committed to delivering our clinical strategy as well as being clear on our role as a key partner in delivering the wide vision for health and social care in Lincolnshire. The role will require robust and resilient senior leadership skills that ensure the workforce is empowered to deliver a continued standard of high quality care.

As a visionary and supportive leader you may be required to work clinically as part of this role. In addition, you will need to be flexible and resilient and able to facilitate changes required in order to promote and maintain high performing teams. The successful candidate will work within a supportive environment, alongside other Clinical Team Leads.

  • Teaching/Mentoring qualification or equivalent experience

Previous Experience
