Job overview
1. Assist with the collation of key dates in the cancer patient's pathway for
submission to the national Cancer Waiting Times system, as defined in the
NHS Cancer Plan.
2. Monitor that appropriate actions are taken to ensure cancer patient’s pathway
meet national cancer standards.
3. Working with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) coordinators in the collection
and analysis of audit and COSD data, used to assess service development
needs and service improvement processes.

An enthusiastic and proactive individual is invited to join the Royal Free Hospital as an MDT Tracker for the busy cancer multidisciplinary team.
This post is based on the Royal Free Hampstead site.
You will support weekly multidisciplinary team meetings ensuring cancer patients are actively tracked through their care pathway, and adhering to national cancer standards.
You will work very closely with the MDT team leaders and the operational managers to ensure effective information flow and will assist with ensuring that patients are treated without delay.
You must have the ability to communicate with all the members of a busy clinical team and be able to balance the demands of an interesting and challenging role.
You will be expected to input data on patient records system and database system and therefore excellent data entry skills are required.
You will support the Team Leader in providing cover when a member of the MDT team is away on annual leave, training or sickness.
