Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals
Main duties of the job
***Fixed Term until March 2026***
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic clinician to join our well established, innovative team of musculoskeletal physiotherapists.
The posts are based at our main Barnet and Chase Farm sites and will include cross site working. Patient care will be a mix of Telehealth and face to face consultations and will involve extended hours and evening work dependent on demand. The successful candidate will have significant postgraduate experience of working with patients with complex conditions; working within a bio-psychosocial approach on a one-to-one basis as well as within a group context. They will share responsibility for supporting junior and less experienced staff working. They will be expected to participate in the teaching and training of more junior staff and other health care professionals as appropriate.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic and passionate and have the motivation to encourage and facilitate best practice. We are looking for an individual who is an excellent communicator and team player.

- BSc Degree in Physiotherapy or Diploma or equivalent
- Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration for profession
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of study or intention to study at masters level
- Membership of specialist interest group
Experience
Essential criteria
- Substantial postgraduate experience at a Band 6 level or equivalent including within specialist area
- Experience of group work
- Previous experience of junior staff & student supervision/ clinical education
- Experience of leading a team
- Experience of teaching to unidisciplinary/ multidisciplinary groups
- Evidence of active involvement in service development & contribution to change within the workplace
Skills & Aptitudes
Essential criteria
- Highly effective communication skills
- Able to manage own clinical caseload
- Competent IT skills
- Specialist knowledge around complex patient management
- Positive attitude and ability to cope well with change

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
