Main duties of the job
Work as part of a team to provide and coordinate administrative services for Therapy Services and Perinatal Pelvic Health Service. Main tasks include:
Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS)
- Supporting the management of the electronic diary of the PPHS physiotherapies/midwives
- Manage appointment booking for PPHS services
- Helping to coordinate PPHS activities and reporting
- Coordinating meetings at both local, regional and national level
Therapy Services
- Management of the Advanced Physiotherapist Practionnaire (APP) clinics.
- Minute taking
- Supporting with catering labels
- Management of room allocations
- Supporting recruitment and leading on new starters/leavers pathway
- Supporting with other administrative tasks such as distribution of emails/printing
- Support with Reports

Education and professional qualifications
Essential criteria
- RSA 2 or RSA 3 word processing/typing or equivalent experience
- English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- Diploma level qualification or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Courses / further study attended to demonstrate evidence of personal development
Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous experience of working with the public and/or patients in a healthcare environment
- Experience of interaction with all levels of staff
- Previous administrative and organisational experience
- Experience of managing and prioritising own workload and working to deadlines
- Experience of dealing with non-routine and complex Problems
- Previous experience in Minute taking.
- Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
- Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of NHS issues and experience of working in the NHS
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
