Recovery worker Assessment Team

Trosolwg o'r swydd

Working in the dynamic Assessment team to support patients into treatment. 

This role can be based wither in the Bedford or Dunstable hub dependent on service requirement. 

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

Assessing, care planning and risk assessing skills are key to this exciting role. You will need to have worked with people with substance misuse issues and have excellent communication skills as well as a desire to support people into treatment. Your role will be to support those people looking for Opiate substitute treatment as well as this those who are alcohol dependent to prepare them for the longer treatment required in the wider recovery team. Group work is also a requirement for this role.

Education, Training & Qualifications

Meini prawf hanfodol
  • English and Maths at minimum GCSE or higher (or equivalent).
  • Information and Communication Technology literacy
Meini prawf dymunol
  • Minimum NVQ level 4
  • Professional Qualification e.g. Nursing, Social Work or Counselling.
  • Substance Misuse Training.
  • Experience of working in social care
  • Training in Motivational Interviewing or other psychosocial interventions.

Experience

  • Experience of working within substance misuse services or Health or Social Care.
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience of providing evidence based interventions
  • Experience of Recovery Focused interventions.
  • Experience of using Information and Communication Technology to deliver clinical practice.
