East London NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to invite applicants for a degree programme in nursing through the Apprenticeship route.

Working for our organisation

The successful candidate will access the 18 - 20 months top up programme at either Greenwich University or Bedford University depending on the area of practice.

Requirements: From the start of your apprenticeship, you will need to be employed full-time (minimum of 30 hours or more per week) in an ELFT clinical setting where you can be supported to train with Registered Nurses as your assessors and supervisors in practice.

Applicants must possess evidence of functional skills of Numeracy & Literacy or at least three GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including Mathematics and English or a recognised level 2 equivalent; applicants need to be available to go through a selection process.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

You will need your line manager’s approval prior to applying for this programme. Placements during the training will be rotational and across all services in the Trust to enhance learning opportunities.

Applicants must have worked in substantive position in ELFT for minimum of 1 year and possess the ability to study at Degree level. Applicants will need to pass an in-house selection process in addition to the University selection process.
