Main duties of the job
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust has 3 work place Nurseries taking children from 6 months to 5 years –Monday to Friday. We provide the children with a safe, stimulating, caring and anti-discriminatory environment. We aim to work in partnership with parents to best meet the individual needs of the children.
We are looking to recruit a motivated person ,ideally with childcare qualifications and with post qualification experience, in a childcare setting. You will need to be enthusiastic, reliable flexible and caring with knowledge of the EYFS. Good, clear communication skills, both written and oral are essential. We aim to recruit compassionate and caring staff who have a passion for excellence.

Qualification
Essential criteria
- Minimum level 2 childcare qualification
Desirable criteria
- Current Paediatric First Aid certificate
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working in a Nursery setting
- Have a working knowledge EYFS
- Proven experience working with children aged 0-5 years
Skills and Appitude
Essential criteria
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Desirable criteria
- Willing to learn and develop
Personal Qualities
Essential criteria
- Be adaptable and flexible
Desirable criteria
- To be able to work as part of a team, but also the ability to use initiative as needed

Essential criteria
- Have flexibility to be able to cover varying shifts at short notice to ensure ratios are met

- Occasionally meet the needs of the service by working cross site if needed
