Person specification

Education / Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Degree or equivalent experience in photography / imaging sciences.
Desirable criteria
  • Registered with the AHCS

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria
  • Significant experience of imaging
  • Knowledge and understanding of anatomy and pathology of the eye
  • Fluorescein angiography/ICG imaging experience
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of use with a range of devices including Heidelberg, Topcon, Optos, Optovue and Zeiss

Skills/abilities

Essential criteria
  • Good communication skills, particularly to patients regarding their Imaging investigations.
  • Capable of performing complex ophthalmic imaging tasks without supervision.
  • Competent in IT skills
