We are now looking for a dedicated and proactive Clinical Pathway Navigator  to join our dynamic team in a non-clinical capacity, to support the effective delivery of our services.

Main duties of the job

As a Band 4 Clinical Pathway Navigator in HIV Medicine at the Ian Charleson Day Centre (ICDC), you will fulfil a crucial role in enhancing patient experience through the effective facilitation and coordination of patient care pathways. This integral, non-clinical position involves collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to streamline the operational facets of patient care. Your responsibilities will include scheduling, managing documentation, and ensuring robust communication channels within the clinic.

In this dynamic role, you will provide comprehensive administrative, reception, and coordination support to both the HIV medicine clinic and its consultant and medical teams. Your efforts will be key in improving the operational efficiency of the clinic and elevating the quality of care delivered to our patients. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes and satisfaction by ensuring a seamless and efficient service delivery.

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at grade C or above.
Desirable criteria

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in administrative or coordination roles.
