Main duties of the job
As part of our commitment to deliver excellent teaching for UCL medical school, the department of Respiratory Medicine at Royal Free are looking for a dynamic senior clinical teaching fellow to cover maternity leave. The department of Respiratory Medicine is an exciting forward thinking multidisciplinary department. This innovative post will help a motivated doctor who has completed foundation year training to develop the career as a clinician with an interest in medical education and possibility to develop future career in Respiratory Medicine.
This 7-month Teaching Fellow Post is available to shape and support undergraduate medical education. It is anticipated that the post holders may wish to study for a Certificate in Medical Education and further develop an educational portfolio with partial financial support from the department.
The post is available from 1st August 2023 on a full-time basis, based at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead, London.

Education & professional Qualifications

- MB BS or equivalent
- Full GMC Registration
- Satisfactory Completion Foundation Training
- Experience in acute general and respiratory medicine
Desirable criteria
- More experience after completion of foundation training is valuable
Experience
Essential criteria
- Teaching experience to include bedside teaching, small group and classroom
Desirable criteria
- Experience as a faculty member in simulation (team based and clinical skills)
- Research/QI experience

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
