Job overview

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH) is looking for a high calibre individual to fill a  Head of Finance role. 


The role will involve working closely as a senior finance business partner with the divisional  leadership team to support the delivery of service & financial objectives.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will add value to the divisions by :

  • Providing expert financial advice for large strategic projects or service developments
  • Lead on short and medium term divisional finance plans
  • Support the planning and delivery of cost and productivity improvement plans
  • Lead the delivery of high-quality finance business partnering support to the divisions
  • Support the drive to embed service line reporting and patient level costing across clinical areas
  • Benchmarking the Trust against other trusts, using this analysis and other tools to drive efficiencies
  • Lead the development of the finance team
