Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well organised, self-motivated and innovative professional to work as a Recruitment Advisor.

In this role you will provide a comprehensive recruitment advisory and transactional administrative service to client directorates for AFC positions, ensuring that recruitment is undertaken in a timely and professional manner having regard for cost, quality and Trust policy. You will be working closely with directorate line managers and clinical staff to deliver their workforce recruitment and administrative needs.

Main duties of the job

The Recruitment Advisor will take responsibility for the end to end delivery of recruitment and administration within their division and support and cover for other recruiters in team in their areas, working in partnership with Team Leads and wider HR teams to ensure the provision of recruitment is comprehensive, consistent and of a high quality. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality service, the measure of which will be that vacancy rates, time to hire and administration of services within their division is improved.

You will be joining a lovely and welcoming team who embody our HEART values.

You must be methodical and well organised in your approach and be able to react to ever changing demands in order to deliver against deadlines and meeting SLA’s. A part of this role relates to the HR administration and HR queries.

Essential criteria
  • Good working and practical knowledge of range of recruitment approaches and their appropriateness for specific needs
  • Up to date knowledge of recruitment employment law and requirements for pre-employment screening including immigration, references and DBSs.
Desirable criteria
  • Worked as recruiter in complex organisation
  • HR Systems - Trac/ESR/SMS/NCRS

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Able to deliver recruitment service from identification of need to candidate starting employment
  • Able to contribute immediately to the work of the department and establishing professional credibility with client managers.
  • Able to build positive relationships with managers, colleagues
