Job overview

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic OSRM to join our team, who has experience in managing a large and varied workload and has in depth knowledge about research governance and regulatory compliance.

They will be responsible for the efficient management, coordination, and strategic development of the NIHR Clinical Research Delivery Centre (CRDC) Hub and Spoke model across North West London. This role will oversee business development, industry engagement, governance, and the delivery of high-quality research studies, including Clinical Research Facility (CRF) studies. The postholder will work closely with NHS Research Infrastructure, academic, and industry partners to strengthen collaboration, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance research capacity across the network. The role will also support budget holder responsibilities within R&I. The postholder will represent our CRDC at relevant CRDC network meetings.  

Main duties of the job

As the lead on R&I governance for the CDRC, we expect the applicant to be an expert in regulatory compliance, with extensive research governance experience. They will have expert knowledge regarding the legal requirements surrounding all research activities to ensure all research activity complies with the regulations. The post holder will represent the department at a variety of stakeholder meetings relevant to the role and will liaise with the Clinical teams in all three hospitals within out Trust.

They will be maintain oversight of policies, SOPs and regulatory frameworks; support risk management and audit processes and work closely with the existing R&I structure ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and governance structures.
