Job overview
JOB SUMMARY
As part of the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP) Team, the post holder will provide day-to-day support of quality, risk, safety to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and effective care focused on improving outcomes and experiences for patients, families and Carers. Act as a member of the Department Management Team and be accountable for quality governance deliverables within the Department with a key responsibility for the management of complaints and Health and Safety in the Department.
Main duties of the job
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- As part of the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP) Team be accountable for quality governance deliverables within the
- Promote a better understanding of governance mechanisms and systems within departments across the Department with a focus on risk, root cause and Health and
- Support the Quality Manager with quality management tasks including audits, documents and risk management.
- To facilitate a culture of learning and improvement from quality processes across the department.
- As part of the BCSP Team implement systems and processes to promote, monitor and maintain a healthy, safe and secure patient and working environment through compliance with legal and regulatory
- Provide support and assistance to the management team to ensure that quality and patient experience is at the heart of the service we deliver.
