Job overview

The Nursing Assistant works flexibly as part of the nursing team to deliver quality care to patients.The primary activity will be to undertake a range of supervised direct care duties, which are clearly prescribed both in this document and in more detail in the core competency list for the grade.
To carry out assigned tasks involving direct care in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse. 

Main duties of the job

Nursing Assistants are key members of our team and work in a variety of our adult impatient areas, delivering care in every imaginable setting, and are invariably the people who deliver the majority of hands-on nursing care, providing you with great job satisfaction from your role.
