Job overview

The pilot is to target children aged 0-5 years to have ability to access a same-day care walk-in service in north of Hammersmith and Fulham. This is to target the inequitable access to same-day care services which is exacerbated by the location of paediatric emergency services, and the relative difficulties of reaching these by public transport.

The pilot is a service in North H&F for children aged 0-5 years with same-day care problems as part of a Winter pressure initiative. Although based in North H&F, this will be available for all children resident in H&F or registered with an H&F GP.  It will be open from 13:00-17:00 on weekdays and will be run by a GP and paediatric ACP providing a range of care options to families on a walk-in basis, including education to support self-care. It will not be open at weekends or on Bank Holidays.

We are looking for a GPs who have an interest in same day care for children between the ages of 0-5years along with a passion for work targeting population health needs.

The service can be covered by various Gps on a rota system or one- so open to various hours and availability however core working hours are 1pm-5.30pm, Monday- Friday.
