Faraday Ward is a busy acute respiratory unit with 16 bed capacity.
Our Respiratory patients require specialist respiratory investigations and treatment, encompassing sub-specialties such as non-invasive ventilation (NIV), continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), Optiflow, laryngectmoy, tracheostomy and chest drain care.
There is a multidisciplinary approach to care on our ward and you’ll be assisting our dedicated nursing team in delivering safe and high quality of care. There is scope for professional development through the role of link nurse and the potential to develop your knowledge and skills through relevant healthcare courses/training.
The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be committed to delivering safe and compassionate care. We welcome new ideas and strive to constantly improve our delivery of care to patients.
The ward has worked through the pandemic and remain a solid, strong and resilient team in providing patient centered care. We aim to support each other in both career progression, up skill training and mental well-being.
