Job overview
The Waltham Forest Women’s Health Hub is seeking an experienced and innovative Project Manager to lead on the the development and implementation of a new single point of access for gynaecology referrals and multidisciplinary clinics in the community. This role will involve coordinating a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care, and optimizing resources to meet the evolving needs of women in our community as well as managing the mobilisation and implementation of the Women’s Health Hub in Waltham Forest. This role will also have oversight of the Tower Hamlet’ Women’s Health Hub (established) and support the inception of the Newham Women’s Health Hub due 2025-2026.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a commitment to and passion for improving services and outcomes for patients and their families. These roles require individuals with highly developed leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of transformation and significant experience in delivery of complex transformation projects developed either within the NHS, elsewhere in the Public Sector or from the commercial sector, including consulting. These roles will focus specifically on supporting the work of the Trust’s Clinical Transformation Programmes and will involve development and leadership of multifactorial programmes of work in a dynamic and complex environment, in this case specifically the pilot of a Community Women’s Health Hub in Waltham Forest and supporting embedding the Women’s Health Hubs in Tower Hamlets and Hackney and Homerton.

Essential criteria
- Demonstrate political awareness and experience of working with directors and senior leaders in politically sensitive and unpredictable environments
- Educated to masters level of equivalent experience working at a senior level
- Knowledge of the NHS strategy, structures, current policy and decision making
- Proficiency in a range of IT packages and tools. This would include MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Experience of delivering large-scale transformation projects in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments and within complex organisational structures

- Knowledge and experience of delivering change management using improvement science methodologies
