Job overview
Do you have experience working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant? If so, we need your support in our busy NHS setting to help cover ongoing vacancies.

An opportunity has arisen to join an innovative and dynamic team providing occupational therapy services. We are looking for enthusiastic, positive, proactive people to join our therapy teams across the Trust.
You will work closely with a friendly multi professional team who are committed to encouraging independence, promoting self-care, supporting parents and carers and assisting patients to achieve their goals. The successful candidates will have good communication skills, be creative, reliable, able to use their initiative and work flexibly to respond to service needs.
Previous experience of working with children with disabilities is desirable and experience of working with OT would be helpful. We encourage continuous learning and support personal development, providing regular supervision for all staff.
Main duties of the job

Working with the therapists you will assist in managing specialist equipment and complete assessments as directed by senior Occupational Therapist. Providing therapy in clinic base, at home or in schools or nurseries. Confidence in using technology is a definite advantage and knowledge of core skills of occupational therapy a must.
The teams work from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm Mondays to Fridays however we do support flexible working.
