NELFT  All-Age Eating Disorder Service in Kent and Medway is looking to recruit to the post of Clinical Support Worker, Band 3 .

We are delighted to receive further transformation funding in the Kent and Medway All-Age Eating Disorders Service so we are extending our service offer to include this very exciting addition to our portfolio.  We are seeking to develop an intensive home-based eating disorder treatment pathway in the form of an enhanced care pathway (Intensive Care Pathway - ICP). These forms of treatment have the potential to minimise inpatient admissions (including out-of-area placements), reduce length of stay in inpatient settings and improve experience of discharge from inpatient care as set out in the NHS Long Term Plan.  We have expanded our service brief to include 3 Eating Disorders inpatient beds in the Kent and Medway Adolescent Hospital.

The role of Clinical Support Worker is to faciliate physical health clinics and providing support to young people, their families, and adults in treatment, in their homes to enable them to manage the illness to stay out of hospital (both acute and specialist eating disorder units) or return home earlier than would otherwise be possible.

The post holder will ideally have previous experience of working children and young people and adults.
