Main duties of the job

How does the Senior People Partner support our team?

This role is the important gateway between the People Team and our business

  • The Senior People Partner is responsible for the provision of high quality strategic and operational workforce support to ensure best practice people management across the organisation.
  • They will facilitate, spearhead, and implement strategic initiatives that promote, foster, and solidify a dynamic yet harmonious workplace where our teams can thrive.
  • The Senior People Partner is responsible for ensuring the contribution of People expertise to business decision making and develop innovative people solutions to support business plans and strategy.
  • They will be a key conduit between the People services and other colleagues across NICE. Maintaining effective communication links, ensuring that best practice is shared and developed.
  • They will ensure that operational and strategic Organisational Development services are aligned within Directorates, to promote partnership working and the delivery of a proactive and customer centred service, which improves the user experiences.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Education

Essential criteria
  • Educated to Masters or equivalent level of experience.
  • Evidence of CPD
Desirable criteria
  • MCIPD qualified

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Detailed understanding of the principles of change management and able to demonstrate a successful track record of major organisational change.
  • Evidenced track record of effective partnership and collaborative working with all stakeholders to deliver aims and objectives through a coaching and consultancy approach, supporting and developing the leadership and management capabilities of senior staff throughout the organisation.
  • Experience of formulating new ways of working and creating strategies for workplace improvements within operational, and resourcing activities.
  • Proven experience in human resources or people partner role, ideally within the healthcare sector.

Skills/Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Strong knowledge of legislation and best practice, stakeholder management and influencing strategies with a proven ability to turn these innovative ideas into working models.
  • Proven knowledge of NHS (including terms and conditions of employment for all employee groups) and other national strategies that may have an impact on business partnering arrangements and activities.
