Main duties of the job

To be considered for this role, we are looking for:


•    Experience of developing and maintaining databases or spreadsheets
•    Understanding of financial processes – obtaining quotes raising purchase orders etc
•    Experience of providing administrative and coordination support within a multi-project delivery / complex operational environment.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate confidently and deal effectively with individuals at all levels.
•    Ability to work flexibly in an unpredictable environment and manage changing priorities effectively.
•    Self-motivating with the ability to work unsupervised and make timely, robust, and independent decisions on issues for which they have responsibility.
•    Ability to concentrate and provide excellent attention to details whilst switching between tasks, and subject to continuous interruptions.
•    Comfortable with taking on new areas of work, learning new processes and systems, and committed to ongoing personal development.

Working for our organisation

The Digital, Information and Technology (DIT) directorate is an 80 strong team of digital, information, and technology professionals. Our digital teams adopt a user centric agile methodology and work in multi-disciplinary teams with analytics and insight to develop and maintain NICE’s suite of digital and technology services. The Coordinator role sits in the Strategy and Governance Team. This team provides programme, project, and portfolio management as well as governance, statistical reporting, and administrative support across all NICE Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) activity.

Essential criteria
  • Please outline your qualifications - Relevant degree, basic professional qualification, NVQ Level 6, or equivalent qualification (eg non-English qualification) or equivalent level of knowledge acquired through experience and further training/development.

Experience

  • Outline your experience of developing and maintaining databases or spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and your level of knowledge in Excel.

  • Outline your experience of co-ordinating and providing secretariat for meetings, video conferences and other events, including booking rooms and facilities, preparing agendas and papers, minute taking, updating Risks, Actions, Issues and Decisions (RAID) logs, and ensuring timely distribution of papers. Creating and maintaining a forward plan of agenda activity and presentations.
