Job overview
Reporting to the Project Manager, Corporate Office, the Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the public’s access to NICE’s committee meetings held in public and assist the project manager to ensure the delivery of their work programme. The post holder will also support the team with other corporate functions, including the Technology Appraisals and Highly Specialised Technologies appeals programme and related processes.
Main duties of the job
To be considered for this role, we are looking for someone who can:
- Manage their own workload to ensure the scheduling of key dates across multiple meetings are met
- Be responsible for the administration to enable members of the public and external stakeholders to observe NICE’s advisory committee meetings and appeal hearings, including managing registration and information on the NICE website, and providing an oral briefing to the observers on the day
- Be the main point of contact for the guidance producing project teams and external stakeholders for meetings within your responsibility
- Work as part of a team to manage the flow of meetings, problem solve and consider new ways of working

The Corporate Office team is responsible for supporting a number of corporate functions within NICE including the executive team, the Board, corporate governance, technology appraisal and highly specialised technologies appeals, advisory committee meetings held in public, information governance, records management, and NICE’s preparations for the COVID-19 public inquiry.
